New Product Development Effort

Hi all,I was looking for a way to mount my fire extinguisher mount in the FC and have it look nice and not require a lot of drilling/fabrication. I always liked the SBG mount for the FD, but that doesn't exist for the FC.

Back in 2013, SBG offered a group buy for a Fire Extinguisher Mount for OEM FC OEM Seats/Rails. It flopped back then.

JP3 Motorsports has said if we can get 25 actually interested names they will kick-start the development on a bolt-in fire extinguisher mount for the FC/Infini OEM seats/rails.

After the initial Facebook post last night we only need 4 more people interested to get the ball rolling on this!

Note - I was not able to post in the FC Product Dev section, however I'm not sure it would have even been noticed there if I had lol

Example of how it could mount below.

You couldn't post in that section because you need to be a sponsor to advertise new products. Below are the rules on advertising.

These rules were put in place to preserve the financial status of this site. Hosting costs are VERY expensive. In order for us to continue providing it as a free service to users all over the world, we must generate some revenue. It's only fair that you, as a Vendor, pay for promotion of your product.

1. We have MANY ways to allow you to promote your company. Please contact us at AutoAdvertiser@internetbrands.com for more information.

2. NO FREE ADVERTISING WILL BE ALLOWED!!! If you have a product you wish to promote to the RX-7 Club community, then you MUST purchase advertising on this site. This includes even if the product/service you're wanting to post is "just so you (or a friend) can help out members." You can be SURE that SOMEONE is making money, and to do that via our sites IS NEVER FREE. Sorry.

3. Group Buys for products ARE considered advertising, and must be paid for and arranged for via AutoAdvertiser@internetbrands.com. If you wish to organize a Group Buy, again please contact us at AutoAdvertiser@internetbrands.com for more information.

4. Effective 1/1/07, Group Buys (and in some cases, Forum Vendorship) may require that the Vendor provide proof of identity, address, and contact information along with a copy of your business license if you have one. Please contact us at AutoAdvertiser@internetbrands.com for more information.

5. If you cannot reach us at AutoAdvertiser@internetbrands.com, then DO NOT ASSUME it's ok to run your Group Buy or Advertising materials. ANY Group Buy or Advertising NOT ARRANGED by AutoAdvertiser@internetbrands.com WILL BE REMOVED.

6. Paying site Vendors must follow the forum rules just like anyone else. If a Vendor is found to not be following them, this may be considered to be a violation of their Terms of Service agreement and their access may be revoked. If this occurs, any money paid will NOT be refunded.

Interestingly enough, I could post a thread in the FD Group Buy and Product Development section.

Edit - I'll go ahead and lock the thread since it appears to be a violation of the rules? It's not specifically a group buy, but I can see how it could be construed as "advertising".
