new problem

new problem

i just installed my harness and everything is plugged in, but when i turn the key to try toi start it everything shuts off, then i try to start it again but no none of the accessories run.

i think it could be a short but i have no idea.

Bad connection on the batt terminal or one of the terminals from the batt. Possibly corroded.

Ditto. Clean your terminals and connectors and reconnect them with the propper wrench.

...I'm going to shoot the next ****** I see tightening his battery terminals with pliers/channel locks/vice grips.

You could also have no signal going to the starter. Put a multi meter on the signal wire to the starter and insure that it gets 12v when the key is turned to start.

That's not going to kill his accessories/lights/etc.
