new owner with gasket problems.....

ok, HI!

glad to be here, my name is jeff, bought a 1987 rx-7 rx non turbo, ran great, drove it about 400 miles to my home, at the end of the trip, my add coolant light came on and at the stoplight i had a LOT of smoke, so i got home and opened the hood, coolant was everywhere. so the leak turned out to be between the waterpump housing and the engine block.

so i took it all off and redid the gaskets between the water pump/housing and between the housing/block.

when i took thecar out after leaving it sit for 24 hours, the same gasket blew, housing/block. the other one held, any ideas??
