I have just bought a 86 GX with a rebuilt streetport motor and was seeing if anyone had suggetions for tuning it a bit more and if anyone else has had a streetport and tell me what they think of it and if possible give an idea on the hp.

streetport can proly get 200rwhp if you tune it right and get all the bolt ons and get a stand alone EMS and remove the non-esential stuff (A/C PS smog cats full race exhaust) But that is if you are lucky and do as much tunning as possible

I'm not looking at throwing crazy cash into the car but enough so that I can smoke a 5.0 here and there I was thinking so far about headers and a intake not sure which yet and maybe larger jets but not sure on how to do that or how much it would be

Larger jets?

Is it EFI or carb?

well the guys that i bought it off of rebuild the motors al the time and said it was a streetport 13b other than that is all stock no headers or any mods im just looking for some resonable mods

You probably wnt to start with the Intake and Exhaust, Pulleys...etc

what diff would pullys make (forgive my ignorance)
also if you could tell me what sould the hp be on aa rebuild

The HP on a rebuild will be a bit low until its fully broken in and compression is restored fully. I just rebuild and streetported my motor and have done a lot of research on the topic as of late.
