Question New Original Colored Gauge Faces?? Ideas?

I noticed that the origial faces are VERY bleached out from time, and all clusters are like this by now.

It would be a nice touch in my restoration if I could land some new faces in original silk-screened colors.

Ideas anyone?

i mainly find this with s5's. the s4 cluster doesnt seem to fade nearly as bad. you could probably buy them new from mazdatrix but i'd imagine they would be around $1000 for the set.

There is no npart number for these parts. I have all the factory service tools and books. Nothing in the parts book.

I"m not sure if it's what you're looking for but I've got a pretty decent gauge cluster from an S5, thing is though it's from an N/A automatic.

PM me if you're interested.

I dunno what you call "bleached", but I got no problems with my original cluster.
My car mostly sits outside in Hawaii sun and a couple Vegas summers...
My car is tinted, so maybe that helps?
I cannot confirm if the S5 ones are more prone to this "problem"...

The S4 ones has a MATTE finish, which can look white / silver at certain angles.
They are not dark-night-black.

Junkyard ones pop up on YJA for US$10 a pop.
Shipped to USA would end up being $50 - $70 as a high side estimate.

Any vynil shop can make you a vinyl gauge face decal. Though they won't be backlit like the stock units.

I've also never seen a faded FC gauge face...
