Wow, you did a real nice job putting that together with the flex joint!
How come the flex joint costs so much? I've seen them for sale at canadian tire for like 30$ tops I believe in a bin! Theres obviously a difference in quality?

I'm not Rotary Guru but is it wise to place the O2 bung so close to the engine?

The stock O2 sensors in N/A cars is less then 3 inches from rear rotor exhaust. O2 sensors are made to take the heat.

Racing Beat puts the O2 sensor bung, for stock, in that exact location. He added his LM-1 right next to it, though I would've put it farther down the line since it can distort the readings a bit and shorten the life of the bosch O2 in rotary cars according to Innovate Motorsports. Of course this is why they sell a heat sink bung adapter, which might be a good idea for the wideband bosch.

Yeah 90 dollar wide bands are probably to be treated a bit nicer than 28 dollar narrow bands. Just my input.

Yeah man! Looks good....

same comment on placing the wideband so close to the turbo.

I put my wideband at teh very end of my downpipe.

looks nice
didnt realize that our cars really owuld need a flex pipe, only thing i can think of is if stuff is out of alignment. the exhaust that is. give you a little room to line it up right.

The one at the right, is between the O2 bung and the sensor:

the main reason i installed the flex pipe is that the mid pipe bottomed out going in and out of drive ways....
