I was wondering if you can unplug something if you leave it sit for a few days so it won't start if someone tries to steal it?
I was also wondering how many miles should you get on a rotary motor if it was taken care of. I have a 87 Rx7 nonturbo. I bought it from a original owner 8 years ago with 120,000 miles on it now I have 171,000 and the previous owner took it to a mazda dealership for every oil change and everything else.. THanks

I'd rather leave the fuse cover on.
It's kinda obvious the fuses are missing without the cover on it.
Make sure you take ALL the fuses even though only the top two kills the car.
I can always take HEAD and RETRACTOR fuses and use them in the top two spots to get the car started, so that's why I said to take ALL of them with you.
There's a very small chance the thief could be walking around with extra fuses, but that's like a one in a million chance.

Unless you are dealing with MacGyver, just lock the doors and remove some of the fuses IF NEED BE.
If you are dealing with MacGyver, or you just would rather leave the car intact why not just put it in one of those rent-able storage boxes?
