New intake = rough idle?
Hey guys,
Just bought an 87 "7" (non-turbo) and I'm loving it. The motor seemed to be in great shape, and my local rotary guy went over everything and said it was running great. I then bought one of those adapters that goes on your MAF to mount a cone filter instead of the airbox, and also put in a little breather filter. The car seemed to get a decent power gain out of this, and was running fine, but a couple days later it started idling pretty rough. Did I inadvertantly cause a vacuum leak someplace? Or is it running too lean from the new filter? Anyone else have this happen?
Thanks!

Unless your AFM found a dead spot (check codes), it's probably a vac leak...
Check the AFM input voltages at the ECU to rule it out...
