As you all know, FCs are between 19 and 24 years old.

While that's when most women look their best, for FCs it usually means mismatched bolts, screws, etc. We all have rusted bolts, stripped bolts, lost screws, etc. I would love it if you guys could post the bolts you know so that everyone can find them in one handy-dandy location.

Please respond with location, size, threads, whatever you have. "A 10mm bolt" is not a good answer for this kind of thing, let's make this as user/shopper friendly as possible.

For example, I just went down to good ol' Home Depot and bought new bolts for the seats in my 'vert. So:

Interior
Seat to floor mounting bolts:
Qty: 8
Size: 10mm - 1.25 x 25mm

That would be a good way to post the ones you know.

If anyone has a request for a specific bolt or screw, fire away. I would love to know the size of the four phillips head bolts that go in the arm rests to hold the panel on if anyone happens to have that handy, because I think I'm down to just one or two of 'em now. I don't know where they run off to, but they just randomly disappear.

except the seat bolts have the tapered end. Can't find those in home depot.

use a grinder to taper the end... problem solved

You might want to stick to the standard notation for the fasteners such as:

M10-1.25 x 25mm

Here's an example of that bolt from Fastenal.

Teaching people that the size of the wrench you use has nothing to do with the size of the bolt might be good too. Most of the bolts on cars are flanged head and finding those at HD is nearly impossible; easier at Lowes in my experience. But the head size will be different and I've found most of the non-flanged metric bolts available at the big box stores use 13 or 15mm wrenches.
