Question New here, 88 TII, best exhaust to buy, not loud!

Just like the information states. My exhaust is almost shot, I need information on what everyone is getting, and what is typical, without spending to much money. I know that is broad, but just need some advice from folks who have similar cars and stock set ups.

thanks in advance

racing beat is the best, just expensive
for cheap build your own
just toss in a borla xr-1 for a pre silencer to make it quieter.

Quality exhaust will be $$$, in the 600-1000 price range, whether you go with Racing beat, RE AMEMIYA, R magic or w/e.

If you want, you can always look at how those guys designed their exhaust, and get a custom one made thats somewhat similar, for less money.

cheap and quality dont really fit into the same sentence unfortunately. like everyone above this said, racing beat is probably your best bet but its expensive. i think they're full turbo back system is like 900 but theres actually one for sale right now in the 2nd gen for sale section i think. racing beat is also one of the few exhausts that is pretty quiet for our cars. unless, as stated above, you get a custom exhaust done and get a borla xr-1 put inline to quiet things down.

Thanks for the input guys. And '87 trubo FC, I did search, but searching doesn't always answer what opinions, or what people are using NOW. And one more thing: I wouldn't have bought an RX7 if money were an issue. I like to save money anywhere I can in my life.

Thanks again folks!

if you want a quality exhaust that isnt loud go with racing beat ...

its expensive but well worth it ... they will take care of you too ... real good guys out there ...

the exhaust is pure sex on these cars ... its quiet until you get on it, then it open up and sounds great ...

one of the best bang for you buck upgrades for sure ...

Yeah, I've had that on mine for about 5 or 6 years now. Most of the time I see people running the Racing Beat set-up.
