New guy to the RX-7
Hey guys, just bought my first rotary today, a red 91 drop top, Ive used the search tool and discovered that these cars do not come with stock LSD, Ive also searched all of google and havent really found any rx-7 specific aftermarket part sites. Since Ill probably be changing the clutch sometime this week I would like to order an LSD and a short shifter to install it at the same time, any recommended sites/brands? Any information you can give me I would greatly appreciate...... It will be nice getting to know rx7club because yall will be hearing a from me in the future. Thanks in advance.

Hehe, this is really funny, The miata guys are commonly talking about wanting a RX-7 diff and the RX-7 guys are commonly talking about getting a miata diff
I dont know which ones which group really wants but its funny as hell every time I see it.

knowledge junkie
Georgia has a TON of rx-7s, split amount the following car communities. Depending on the meeting, you'll get any variety of these folks:
- "High-Tech Internet Savvy do-it-yourself guys" (we meet 1st thursday of the month at varsity)
- "raced them 1970s old school / old fart" - they got all the knowledge, but are rarely seen. Their cars pop-up on ebay or www.thepartstrader.com all the time.
- current racers, shop owners, (they only show on events, not regular meets)
- various latino groups / rotary communities (mostly 1st & 2nd gens, heavy into rotaries, keep to themselves)
- rotary drag car owners (some of the coolest but rarely seen)
- elitist 3rd gen owners (see them at the more presigious events only)
- keep to themselves owners (they post on these boards, but never checkout what's happening in the community)
- ricers / "Gen Y/Z crowd" - mostly into the show sceen (NOPI), not too much into rotaries. We see them all the time at miscelaneous meets
- hardcore rotorheads (go to all the big meets, multi-car owners)
- geek scientist (got into cars after learning about the rotary engine, mostly stay on the "old-school high tech owners - see them on newsgroups or e-mail lists only).
