If fc's cost this much in the 80's, how much would the fd's cost in the 90's.

I have the original paperwork for my FD too, the sticker price was $39k. Out the door the original owner paid $43k or so. I'll have to look, but I'm pretty sure, thats how much it was.

Wink

1990 Vert - Crystal White with all black interior - custom ordered direct from Mazda Japan through US dealer in November 1989 with ABS and Vicious LSD installed [btw - not offered on verts as options, but if you have the cash, Mazda won't turn you away (they will, however, charge you an arm and possibly a leg)] - About $37,000 after import fees and luxury taxes (two unfortunate side effects of custom orders).
I have since had it converted it to an S5 TurboVert (USA Spec everything - Engine, Transmission, ECU, Driveshaft, halfshafts, pressure sensor and hood - ~$3500) and upgraded to HKS Exhaust, T70 Turbo (16lbs/bst) and front mounted intercooler (~$2500 - Peak hp is about 330(ish) now) and it now has 23,178 original miles on odometer.

Total Worth = $Priceless! (total spent - over $43K)

Sell?.....not on your life - I would sooner sell one of my kids..... tho I might consider an even trade with a 97' McLarenF1 or a 70' Hemi Cuda.......Possibly a 48' Tucker Torpedo.....
