New FC (few questions)

hey guys i have a personal body guy who comes to my house once a week and works on my cars well he purchased a 1986 Base Model (4 lug) Rx7 neways he just brought it to my house and he wants me to help him out on the car i oviously have no problem helping him cause he always is willing to help me with my 7 when i crashed it... neways it runs has very good compression on each rotor (poor mans compression test) has a few minor problems.. shakes alot when you floor it or when you shift life it was studdering but its not (i think the motor mounts shot) rear diff bushing is shot sounds like it hits the back end of the car everytime you shift... other than that the car is 100% orignal has 192k miles on chassis what do you guys think i should start off with???
Thanks In Advance

dif mount, motor mounts, block off all your emitions trash (assuming you dont have emitions) and try to get it back to stock spec, ie, change o2 sensor, change spark plugs etc... atleast thats what i would do

All the above plus:
Synthetic gear oil in the tranny
Check the U-joints
flush/bleed the brake fluid

It's a high mileage 86, so be gentle with everything, especially the plastic clips & connectors.

Like Vicious525E said "the mounts". Check them all and drive shaft u-joints.

My drive shaft u-joints were so shot... lol, once i took it out and played with it I couldnt get the u-joint to move again..... that thing was vibrating mad crazy whenever I wasn't in nuetral or coasting.

The reason it doesn't do it in nuetral or coasting in gear is because there is less pressure on the u-joint at those times as the tranny isn't really demanding it to move and push power.
