Smile new fc!

Well, I havn't been around here much, and I have only posted a few times so I am not sure if you guys remember me talking about getting an RX-7 a long time ago... but I finally got one!
It is pretty nice, a black 1990 GXL with only 73k miles on it. As far as I can tell, it seems to be in great mechanical condition and the body is doing pretty well too. Actually, it was recently painted so it looks good... but unfortunately, it is not the stock color black. It is more of a pearl black, but I plan on having it detailed, sanded, and repainted the original color whenever I get the money. I only paid $2800, and I live in CA, so I think I got a pretty fair deal. Well anyway, I'll post pictures tomorrow when I get my buddies digital camera...

Nice color and low miles, it must bite to live in CA, having to pay twice as much for imports than other places.

Post some pics

That's a good price for the car. Congrats on the buy.

Just be mindful of the electrical OMP/MOP and it'll last ya.

Yeah it is really fun to drive, and looks awesome...

The body is really nice except for that real right fender near the bumber.... someone must have backed into it. I checked it out and it doesn't look like it would be too hard to have it pulled out.

Why do you want to repaint it? The paint looks great. Save your money, and spend it on something else.

Odds are someone tagged it while trying to park...I have an dent in the same area, I was in the car when it happened. You'll get quotes ~6-900 dollars.
