Most "test pipes" are larger in the middle because they pack them with a sound dampening material (basically a muffler) to make the RX-7 slightly quieter. I don't think it sacrifices any flow or velocity compared to a straight through test pipe, if so it's minimal.

Also, it looks like a high flow cat... So, if you get pulled over and the cop pulls out a stick w/ a mirror on it, they will see something that looks like a cat... Although we dont have emissions here in Florida, BSO does that kind of crap all of the time to pile on the tickets...

Yeah, I love shooting fire.

My injectors leak like a ****, so I constantly run richer than I should. That + straight pipe = winner at backfire competitions.

wait, so I am thinking of getting the RB presilencer (cause otherwise this **** will be too loud!) and this exhaust.

I read that it's supposed to delete the cat and bolt straight to the header.

You said you cut it a bit and rewelded it to fit the test pipe, right?

Be careful of what you replace on a NA exhaust, replacing some bits can make the 5th and 6th aux ports not function.

Decent exhaust! Really makes those flames come out.

I wonder if that test pipe would go into the racing beat system in place of the precilencer, probly not because it looks a little small.
