New engine without exhaust sleeves

I just received my new engine today. There are no exhaust sleeves in the housings. I just pulled my old engine apart last night, it does have sleeves. I can get the sleeves out of my old housings, but I obviously can't pin them back into the new ones. That is the issue. Any chance that I can just put them in there, and that when the turbo manifold is tightened down, it will hold them in place? Or are they not that tight fitting? Any other options?

They will rattle around, obstruct flow, and eventually wear into the aluminum in several spots. The only way to install them is with the housings apart. You're pretty much stuck with what you have, short of rigging.

I bought it used off of here, no idea who built it. "RK Racing" is engraved into the plate on the middle iron, that could be a lead.

I used the weld/vice grips method to get the sleeves out of my existing housings, and it looks to me that with the turbo manifold on the engine, they will stay in there pretty tight. I will check later and see, but if not I guess I'll rig up something for them to stay in there.

It's amazing what details people forget these days. Leaving out the sleeves in a rebuild is like asking how to make a 700hp N/A. Neither is going to get you a good reputation.
