New motors flood at the sight of fuel, pretty common thing. Either sit there ******* with it to unflood it or tow start it.

well, it's an 88TII with big giant street port, i got 800cc secondaries from a GTU model, and 550cc secondaries in Primaries..was gonna put in Walbro 255 fuel pump in it but not until i fix this problem. I had an old school Apex Afc ( with teh puch turn *** ) to control the fuel before i did the street port but took it out before i start the car.. so what do u think??
i'm thinking about just swap it back to stock injectors and walbro upgrade. i think it should be good for 12 Psi of boost!!?? opinions please.

What do you mean 800cc GTU injectors? A GTU or any N/A FC uses 460cc injectors.

And Drox is correct, newly rebuilt engines, especially when using old housings, like to flood alot. Best thing to do is remove EGI Fuse and sparl plugs. Clean off the plugs, and crank the engine over for about 10 seconds. Reinstall plugs and fuse and try again. Keep doing this until it starts, and make sure you have a very strong battery or a jumper. After it starts , just let it run as much as possable. The problem will go away the more the car is run, as the seals work their way into the housings.

Rxmfn7 is right. The only time you get good compression with rebuilds is when you use new everything.

OK. Why would old housings have anything to do with flooding? Flooding is caused by too much fuel being delivered and in-turn not being burned. Leaking injectors, inj. o-rings, diffusers that are bad etc. I can see... but used housings??????

When using used housings, the new apex seals will not seal up against them completely at 1st. So when you crank the engine, the fuel will not be completely swept across, but let leak into the next face of the housing. This causes unburn fuel to build up, and flood. This coupled with lower compression (seals not sealing completely..) can make for a very hard time starting.
