New DP won't bolt flush to turbo..

Well I just got a Complete 3" Corksport setup. I installed and turned the car on and there was a huge leak from the dp flange to the turbo. I don't understand because I tightened it as far as it would go. I did have a RB dp on it and didn't have any issues. Now that I think of it maybe I should of used washers with the nut. Maybe the threads on the turbo only go so far...? Maybe the RB flange was thicker than the Corksport and I need to compensate with a washer? I used the paper gasket that was on it. Seems odd though since the exhaust gaskets were heavy duty. I just ordered a new gasket for the dp to turbo from the dealer. I'm stumped any ideas? I can't imagine the dp flange not being flat.

The gasket should be a metal crush gasket. I would wait until you get the new one on it and see what happens.

The gasket that was on it was a paper gasket. I was shocked but in my haste... I went ahead and installed it anyway. That metal crush gasket is like $50+ I hope it fixes my prob. Damn this exhaust is stupid loud!

Once you get this fittiment problem worked out you will love your corksport system. I would only suggest adding a borla xr-1 oval or magnaflow ss race oval where the cat used to be and that will be one bad bitch.

Yeah. I might do that. Do those mufflers have baffles?
