Question New Clutch???

im going to buy a new clutch for my 1990 rx7 GTUs. i was wondering if an 8 diameter or a 9 dia. have any difference. which one should i get? how would i know which to get? or any suggestions on where i should buy a clutch. from a store or ebay?

1)material it's made of
2)strength (as in, how much horsepower and torque it can hold)
3)the stronger the clutch the stiffer/tougher to push down the clutch pedal is
i'm sure there's more, but that's what i think of off of the top of my head
