new cat...? on hooking up

(searched!) i have installed, rb header+bonez high flow cat. only thing not hooked up is the thing that hooks to the cat (sorry ive been up all nite workin on this i dont kno wtf you call it) from the air pump. i dont kno whats been to the exhaust in tha past but it looked like it had been welded to the old cat, but anyway i cut it and i dont know if i need to get it welded back? theres a slight gap as well now, would this be a job for say a muffler shop or something? thanks

im looking forward to finally passing! the car is running amazing now very noticable power and response. just gotta hook this up and get new o2...

You need that, its the split air pipe.

Of course you know that the split air into that cat is critical for it's survival, right? I hope to be putting in the same setup in the next few days. Keep us posted.
BTW, what are you running behind that hi-flow cat?

the cat should have come with a short piece of hose. cut the pipe a little then hook the hose up to the cat. And yes, the cat wil go bad real quick if its not hooked up.
