new car quirks

just bought a 91 rx7 friday and now it is time for me to go through all the new car quirks (small problems). if there is a faq for this just point me in the right direction plz i am new to this site but i am a member of the mx6 site...well here is the small problems i have...

the car has 121000miles and the heater/ac control box wont work (i.e. no air comes out and none of the postion lights come on) cant seem to get all the air out of the raditor and was wondering if there is a different way to do this since it is a rotory engine.

any help will be thankful
thanxs

www.teamfc3s.org has some awsome write ups on how to resolder all the circuits boards in your car and also do other maintenence stuff. Its a lot of fun!! The worst one is the logicon. Next after that is the blinker/lights control box under the driver's dash.

Air in the radiator?? Well just keep checking the fluid level. It should all come out.

Also try the search function at the top right corner of your screen. its great!

Welcome to the RX7 world, we are all fanatics! Is your car a turbo?

*edit* in case you didnt know, a Logicon is your heater/air controls in your dashboard

Air in the radiator. Air will get trapped in the top of the radiator because of the design of the system. There is an air bleed valve on the passenger side of the top of the radiator. It is a plastic flush mounted bolt that you unscrew with a phillips head screwdriver. Unscrew this while you fill up your radiator. When water starts coming out of that hole, put the plug back in and top the radiator off the rest of the way.
