I found a 1986 rx-7 (not sure if its a base or sport, i brought along a list of options and i couldnt find out...but anyway) its a n/a 5 speed with 108,000 on it. The guy wants $500 for it. I brought the checklist for buying a used rx-7 with me and it all looked ok, but with one problem. when i started it it blew oil smoke like MAD. Little blue streeks out of the exhausts....the guy said it hadnt been started in about 3 months. My question is is this just oil leaking from the injection system or a oil leak from a seal somewhere? i was only able to watch it run for like 5 min, and it may have been thinning out...but i'm not sure. It also runs a little rough but i'm betting its just all that oil getting on the plugs, i'm hoping you guys can try and figure it out cuz if its ready to blow up i dont wanna buy it...thanks for your help.

 

should try it again and see if it goes away ... Makes sense for a car to smoke if it hasnt been started in a while.
