New 91 rhd project

So i said goodbye to my fd and i picked up this beast for a future daily. Still debating on what setup I'll be going with. I'm leaning more towards a well built mostly stock turboII setup. I'm going to temporarily paint it white and go with a custom blue more down the line. the door panels i have and the interior needs to be cleaned but for the most part the interior is very nice and complete. woo!

The back-end is riding kind of high isn't it?

Aside from that, I say go with the TII swap. At least you can save the harness and ECU. Also, the amount of dust on that car gives me the unnatural urge to clean it with my tongue, although that could be the insomnia talking. Either way, I'd hit it with some soap and water, then throw a cover over it while you get some parts.

Yeah no tranny and drive train will do that to the back end. It's all in the works. There isn't a single part of this car i wont be looking at.

Oh wow.

It was converted.

Was it originally an automatic?.

Is the shell an S5?

The brake booster became in the way of the wiper motor. Do you have the RHD wiper motor and arms?

I also notice the door harnesses are not plugged in.

Let me guess the dash harness and front harness are JDM but the rear harness is USDM..?

I've done this swap before and if you have any questions during your swap feel free to ask me. Good luck with your project and keep us updated!

napsterfreak, how hard was it to swap the wiper stuff over? or did you not do it? seems like it will be a bitch. maybe rain-ex is the way to go...lol

All you do is drill 2 holes and weld the brackets over from the inside.

The wipers where harder because of the 3 ply firewall you do them like this

nice work, but was yours originally a right hand drive? or did you swap over the whole fire wall? either that or you did a real nice job drilling new holes and filling the old ones...
