new 89 turbo II owner tech questions
hello everyone, i am a proud new owner of a 89 Turbo II. i notice a few small things that is not working and would like to know if anyone can advice me on fixing them. thanks!
1) fuel warning light dosen't work, the light turns on when i turn the key so i know is not the bulb.
2) the cigarette lighter igniter dosen't work... it did work until earlier today i had to plug in my air compressor to pump air....it was working for about 2-3 minutes and then the pump turned off i thought my compressor burned out but when i plug the cigarette lighter back in, it didn't work either...so could i have just blew a fuse or something? please advice thanks!

just never let it get below a quarter tank. . . its just a good idea, you wouldnt want to take a hard turn and end up with lean condition
bet you blew a fuse, its only a 10amp fuse, our alternators dont have a whole lot of extra power

Have RX-7, will restore

on the bulb, i'm not too sure. on the first gens that i've worked on, a bad or faulty fuel level sender will cause that because the resistance is partially messed up. as for the lighter, definatly check the fuse. we can go from there after that. make sure you read the FAQ sticky at the top of the 2nd gen section. there's some awesome stuff in there that will help you out a ton!

Are you assuming it doesn't work or have you run the car out of gas?
