New 87 RX-7 Turbo II
I resently bought an RX-7 Turbo II. It has a new engine, new turbo, and new trany (they have only 10,000 miles). The body is in great condition other then some rust around the sun roof. I was wondering what I should do to make sure the engine says in tip top condition. I wanna take extra care of it since I dont have a warrenty to fall back on like I did with previous car. Thanks for any help.

keep the oil changed.....DONT let it overheat, and if you plan on upgrading boost alot, then besure you upgrade fuel too....
when you get it do a complete tune-up....
if the car is in that good of condition, then PLEASE dont let it go to ****

Most people here use Castrol GTX 20-50 along with a MAZDA oil filter. Only buy NGK spark plugs, don't put anything but green coolant in your system and check your oil every other gas fill up. RX-7s are designed to eat oil.
