Help me identify a problem by complaints of odors from my GXL

So today my neighbors told me that my car smells heavily of gas when your outside of it and it never did before. I still get my same gas milage that I was getting before this happend and nothing seems different in driving it either. The only thing I did do to it recently is I added a 600 watt amp and a 12in kicker airfree sub to my audio system so other then an oil change nothing has happened since about june when I replaced the power steering rack and rebuilt the clutch master cylender. Well any suggestions?

Check the PD, O2 sensor, fuel filter, fuel lines, fuel pump, hard lines, fuel rails, injectors, and pressure regulator.

Im thinking that maybe the wind just blew the exhaust up or something, but I would still check/fix all fuel related items that Santiago pointed out. The PD is a very serious problem, my friends engine caught on fire a few months ago out of nowhere. Be careful, check everything.

PD stands for Pulsation Damper. It acts like a shock absorber in the fuel rails that takes the shock off of the more fragile parts of the fuel system. I personally eliminated but in the end it is better to have a working PD and not a banjo bolt like I have. I haven't had any problems in the year its been gone but who knows what times will bring.

Could this also be slightly contributed to the fact that I have the racingbeat cat replacement kit?
