New 7, some questions, bad news

Ok I bought my 87 luxury today, finally.

The clutch was almost gone, tried to drive it home, got 1 mile or so. put gas in it at krogers. Clutch stuck ? It would try and go with the clutch all the way in, the it wouldn't go into gear then after I played with the pedal more, all of a sudden, it stopped completely 2 blocks down the road. Pushed into a gas station by a friends car. While being pushed in first, car was still at idle clutch is gone. I have a kit at home. Will I need to resurface the flywheel if the clutch is this far gone? Also, is it possible for the clutch to stick, it seemed to get better right before pulling into krogers.

Also, what are common syptoms other than a badly lubed track for the sunroof to not operate smoothly.

Last question, what is your alls favorite finish restorer?

Always resurface the flywheel.

As for the sunroof, it could be rust or just really dirty. Take it out and clean the track and lube it up.

check your fluid. It's pretty common for the slave to fail, as for me, i had a faulty hose that leaked brake fluid, causing my clutch to go down, but not come up. if your fluid is below max, fill it up with some dot 3 brake fluid.
