New 6pi insert designs (1 piece)

Well, right now I`m working on some designs that would allow it to be CNC machined, but the cost may be prohibitive. What is the maximum you would pay for a 1 piece 6pi insert?

I`m doing this just for practice in using software and designing for school anyways, but if there is interest........who knows?

All I have to say is you better do some real serious product testing. So you do not have what happened to the inserts that where made by that company that is a fruit.

My main goal is to eliminate the possibility of them falling into the combustion chamber.

I`ll be able to do finite element analysis ( FEM) on the designs to determine stresses, but I`d like to know what forces are on it and at what points. I should be able to make a set and test them for fit in some housings and then in my car.

If anybody has actual numbers of temp. , clearances or any other useful info, I`d appreciate hearing from you.

Is there no one interested in a one piece replacement for the 6pi valves?

I have determined a design that makes it easier to machined in one piece, thus bringing cost down.
