New 2nd gen owner

hey guys just though i would post up some pics of my new ride, after looking for a few months and being pacient i finaly found this car.

It was quite a find considering around here we have really harsh and salty winters and crap roads. No rust at all, not original paint but original interior. Everything is mint even though it has 220 000km on the drive train it runs great (surprisingly). suspention is shot though so im thinking about getting some tokico hp's and some new springs (not too sure which ones yet) i dont want a lot of drop maybe an inch or somthing like that.

a little bit of drop and some 50 profile tires instead of 40's and it should be looking mint.

anyways im stoked!

Looking good. Exciting, isn't it? Do you know what all has been done to it? I see at least a catback and aftermarket wheels.

If your not looking for much drop and want a pretty comfortable ride with a good deal better handling, you should think about the RB springs. They are a good compromise. I have no experience with the tokicos, but I had KYB AGX's and I loved them.

Have fun with it!

I had tokico HP's and RB springs on my GTUs/TII and they were great, but KYB's are a good choice too, just be sure to get them nice RB Springs.

thanks guys, lol god if only you knew how bad quebec roads were you would wish you lived in nyc. Yah i know the tires are to low profile thats why im getting some 50 profile tires soon and prolly ebach springs because i dont want anything too stiff (road conditions) so that should solve the gaping hole issue in the wheel wells. the cat back is decent just some regular ricer cans welded to some 2.5" pipe to a Y connected to stock cats n stuff. Sound isnt too bad but looking into getting racing beat race pipe with the emmisions stuff for the 5th and 6th port to make it a little better hehe.

yah my rents are a little nuts with cars, well mostly my dad lol he has an 04 mustang gt too just not in pic, wrx is my moms car (automatic ) and the truck is my dads general like ride.

btw its a 1988 base with pwr steering, sunroof, 4bolt hubs, electric mirrors, tilt steering. kinda confusing its a mixed bag of sorts. more like a gtu with 4 bolt hubs :S

put in some cheap ebay headlights for now, better than the headlights that were on it! (one yellow and one more recent halogen) besides these take h4 bulbs so i can put some decent bulbs in there.
