I just bought my first 2nd Gen RX7, no motor or tranny. I believe the car is an S4 N/A, I want to throw in the S5 13B with a S5 TII tranny. Can anyone shed some light on this swap as far as needed parts, Thanks!

I tried searching with no luck . Your help is appreciated.

 

try harder, those questions have been asked numerous times and are either in this section or in archive section...

basically u have to watch out for S4 to S5 differences and parts interchanebility and accomodate your S5 TII motor with S5 TII ECU or aftermarket one....

of course drivetrain should be TII too

 

You cannot use the s5 ecu in the s4 chassis. Either remove/switch the stuff on the s5 motor that requires the s5 ecu (so you can run the s4 computer), or run a standalone.
