it never hurts to ask questions... right guys? lol

ok, ive got all my wire and ring connectors for my grounding expedition on my 86 NA GXL.

but... im confused on one thing... to ground the ECU wiring harness (top of block???) to i have to remove the UIM to get to it? - if i do, is there any way i can do it without removing uim?

i want to try and fix my 3800 rpm hesitation, and maybe improve my idle, but i am not comfertable with taking off the UIM, since i dont have much time and i have never done it before.,

thanks alot for the help guys
cam

UIM removal is quite an easy job for a TII, so I assume that for a N/a it'll be even easier...

You'll have to tke the UIM of to get to that ground point, unless you've got the world's tiniest fingers.
It's not that hard to take off, 5 bolts, I think. One really long one in the middle.
