im basically a newb when it comes to fixing my car myself but my idle is sooo rough its not even funny it will idle at about 1200 then shoot up to bout 1500-2000
and if i turn the a/c on it will kill the engine ???
whatz up ?im not getting rid of the a/c but soon i am getting rid of the airpump
will that relieve my a/c prob u think by not making as much parasitic drag ?

thats most likely your problem
buy some manuals too if you want to work on it yourself

 

If you turn on the A/C and it dies, it could be your BAC valve.

Otherwise, your TPS probably needs adjusted. Search for it and you will find a lot of write-ups on it. Once you know where stuff is, its a pretty easy procedure
