Replaced your pulsation dampner yet? I bet you will soon. Search the forum for pulsation dampner, plenty of threads on how to fix.

I have the same problem too. I'm not sure if its the pulsation damper or just the warm up stage.

These are the early signs of PD failure the high pressure from the start up cycle makes it leak but at high speeds when the pressure is the same you don't notice it as much because its being wisped away. by the air flow

Those bastards crated a nice, high output, light weight, long lasting engine, but it is always those tiny ***** that screw up the wet dreams!

I had this problem and it wasn't the PD. It was a tiny pinhole in the hose that goes to the fuel rail, only visible when the engine was cold.

If it's not the PD (check incase!) it might be the shift boots are torn allowing fumes from your exhaust in.

Although I haven't checked out Teds page yet, the PD acted up on me to. For a S4 PD make sure the screw Is on tight than apply a bead of RTV sealant. That should be sufficent enough to prevent the notoriuos screw from ever backing off again.

You should also check to see your Charcoal Canister, at the passengers side corner, Is not cracked or/and the hoses are not pooped off.
