Need your input ..

Hi All
I am new to RX7 world. From what I undrestand the the most bag for $$ is Turbo II, I found Turbo which has been hit in rear hard and can't be repired and it is for sell, I was thinking of buying it,my question are;
1) Can I Transfer the motor,trans,to NA 1986-1991 RX7?Will it fit?
2) What do I need to transfer(wiring harness,ECU,......?
3) Is Rearend on Turbo are different then NA car?
4) Is there any difference brakes on Turbo vs NA?
5) Does it worth it?

Thanks

what you need to trasfer depends on what year the turbo car is and what year the non turbo one is. but over all it's not worth it. it sound's like you don't have the non turbo yet. so just go find a running turbo instead of 2 dead ones. it'll save you alot of time and $$$

Joe,

Hey welcome to the forum.

You probably want to stay with the same series if you do the swap (ie 86-88 TII into an 86-88 NA or 89-92 TII into an 89-92 NA).

Yes the drivetrain, brakes, wiring harness, drivetrain, transmission, etc.. will ALL need to be swapped.

If the motor works you might do better overall finding a TII with a blown engine if you can.

Is the rear suspension ok? Can the car be driven?

If so, get it, and a convertible of the same year with a bad motor. Transfer everything over and have a SWEET ride!
