Need Urgent info

I'm am about to buy a 91 rx7 but have a few questions about it

biggest thing I am worried about is the subframe or unibody
it looks like it was hit being that the has a small dent in it as well as the rear fender behind the whee and the top support for the radiator looks to be damaged a little. last thing is the steering wheel is a little off center and I'm not sure if it just needs taken off and realigned (if you can do that) or there is damage to the steering system/alignment.

other then that the only other thing I noticed is for a 91 it seems down on power vs my 87 sport which has a rb header/dp, K&N and that's for the most part it
could it be my mods put it ahead

as far as the 91's go what model is it?
no cruise

has power windows, locks, sunroof, 5 spoke rims
and how would I know if it had LSD or not?

please guys kinda running out of time on this car as he is only asking 2200 for it and if the car is good then I am going to get it but if there is damage that would put me at risk or cost me more then I expected that wouldn't be goodguys I'm trying to buy a 91 rx7 right now that they are asking 2200 for

Model - probably GXL like most 91's
Any smoke at all?
Crank it with the trottle floored. That will stop fuel so you can hear compression surges in the starter gear noise. Listen for exactly even surges.
Have a friend or mechanic look at with you.
It may have body repairs, but if they are done right, not a problem.
Power? The 91 wants a header.
LSD? probably not, but you could be lucky.

Check out the links in my sig. That's was a 91 NA.

91s only came as coupe, turbo and vert......no other submodel.
1.Compression test is IMPORTANT before you buy it.......
2.insist that you want to see the car 1st thing in the morning... you want to be the first to turn it on....this is because you will see white smoke from a cold car when the coolant seals are gone but if it has been warmed up you will not see any smoke (that's how the guy who sold me my TII fucked me over).
3. do a carfax....must safer than b elieving the seller
4. always haggle and buy it for much less than what he offers.......if it's not meant to be then it will not happen.....it might be better that way.

Good luck,
Hassell

or maybe it just needs an alignment.......that's best case scenario.

could be

it seems to ride nice and straight no shaking in the wheel or anything like that so if it is alignment issue I would think both wheels are well aligned with one another just not with the streering wheel itself if ya know what I mean :-)

could it be the steering wheel was put on at an angle or are they made where you NEED to put them on straight and no way to put them on wrong?
