Need an updated vacum line removal

I need to simplify my RX (S5 TII) under the UIM and would love to see if someone would modify the factory print to show what should be capped off and what should be rerouted. I have attached the factory print if someone would assist.

OK I tried to attach the print and it didn't make it. Now I can't add a pic at all??

Zero. Nothing came up. Everything should stay the way It Is. To answer your question directly.

There is no reason to change the vacuum lines unless you have specific reason to. You won't gain any power, and may lose drivability depending on what you "mod". If the mess bothers you, you can replace with nicely coloured silicon hose...Oh, and there is an emissions removal guide in the archive, in case you really want to do this.

I was ready to do this but decided against it simply because with the stock TMIC place virtually everything's hidden anyway. There are no benefits to removing the vac rack and solenoids other than supposedly "cleaning up" the engine bay, but if you go and have a close look you can't even see most of what gets removed. It's a lot of work for very little gain.

The next time I need to pull the UIM off I'll probably do this, but I won't be making a special effort to do it before then.

If you still want to do it, this is what you'll be left with. It's for an S4 but the S5 will end up virtually identical.

Ok some of my vacum lines are starting to get hard and I don't want to invest in replumbing the vacum/fuel/cooling system unless it makes the car more drivable or gets more better #'s. I also live in the rust belt and the rack is getting real rusty and looks like it might breach soon (Not a pretty sight.) It looks like only one item is missing from the diagram and that is the vacum line down to the turbo. One more question: The diagram shows two lines that connect to the LIM called secondary injector bleed and a line that goes to the secondaries by the pressure regulator. Aren't these the Sub Zero system on the S5's? Let me know when you get a chance.........

The vac line to the turbo is part of the electronic boost control. It's solenoid is on the oil filler neck. Don't remove this unless you're replacing it with another boost controller.

Everything else is as labled. The sub-zero start assist system is not shown because (a) the drawing shows what's left afterwards, and that doesn't include the sub-zero start assist system; and (b) it wasn't on that drawing to start with.

OK I have a Profec boost controller and would like to remove the stock system if possible. Second, can I just remove the sub-zero system? I think I already disabled it by caping off one of the lines anyway. What abot the Cold weather assist (I think it is called a AWS) can I just cao it off as well?

As always I appreciate the asssistance..... : )
