can someone measure the width of the t2 hood scoop for me pleeeeeeeease!

Do you just want the width of the opening or the width of the hood component? Check out the attached image. The scoop is atop a grid of 1 inch squares.

In that case, the inlet cross-sectional area should have about 1/4 the area of the intercooler core.

A Capri hood scoop is pretty close to stock if you want to save yourself some trouble.
