Hi,

I just pick up an 88 convertible I just got the air pump and acv removed (air pump was bad anyways), and now working on changing all the fluids (what is a good manual tran and diff fluid), and replace the spark plugs ( is NGK BUR9EQ the right part number?)


I also need to get the suspension replace, any good recommendations and which is the good site to buy these? this fc is going to be daily driver and occasional autox and track use and hopefully a v8 transplant in the future.

the plugs should be BUR7EQ for the Leading,and BUR9EQ for the Trailing Plugs..Now if you want Platinum plugs Add a P on the end of the Part #..(like BUR7EQP)..Diff and Trans Oil..lucas or Redline is good,Royal Purple also.I use Synthetic..and the Suspension..It depends on what kind of a Ride you want..KYB-AGX's are good as you can Adjust them,While they are On the car...and get a Set of RB springs,maybe Eibach Springs,.Cost wise..they aren't really Expensive..but If you Take a look,you may be able to Find some Megan Coilovers,or something to that Effect for Close to the Same price,if you Buy Used.I hope that Helps you,and Welcome to the Forum,From Misterstyx!(that is ME!.heh!..before the Friggin Flaming comes out and Some Tech-Know-it-all tells you to Search!)
