Need Some Transmission Advice

I bought a t2 motor and i recieved it today. The transmission shifter housing was cracked when i recieved it. So my question is Will my na transmission shifter housing fit onto the turbo 2 transmission?? And is it very difficult to do this if it is even possible?? I will include some pics to better explain what i am talking about. You feedback is appreciated>!

I'm thinkin NO..the TII trans is a bit more Sturdier than that of the N/A,and they are Heavier, and so On..IF It was Me,I'd either find a Crapped out TII trans or just Get another TII Trans that works and keep the Cracked one as a spare. This I would do,Because I hate Down Time,.and would like to Drive the car as Soon as Possible!..OH..I just looked up the Parts Fishe..it "looks like they ARE Compatible though(so Shame on me!)..:look at Part Reference 1720-1(trans Manual)..and the Part is # 508-17-470D..(My parts Reference Number on the Turbo had a "flaw" so I can't really Tell the LETTER on the End..)..Phone a Dealer or FIND the Parts Manual ONLINE here and Compare the control Cases for them Yourself..Good luck.
