Need some info on gauges
It took me an hour just to find where to tap for water temp gauge and those were mixed replies.
Im ordering some gauges and i need to know where the best place to install the probes is on our cars. Also is there a place that i can find out what the average temp/pressures are supposed to be for these gauges? Thanks.
1. Water temp
2. EGT
3. Oil pressure
4. Oil temp
5. Fuel pressure

Water temp.
Before the thermostat. Meaning tap the waterpump housing.
Fuel Pressure.
I put mine between the primary rail and the fuel filter.
So far it works fine.
Oil temp/pressure.
Most will get the FC3S oil pedastal and just atp into there.

Dunno.
I guess you could tap the manifold or the downpipe.
