Ok I Have A 1986 Rx-7 Gxl Automatic. My Engine And Tranny Were Rebuilt About 600 Miles Ago. I Have Changed The Oil, Changed The Fuel Filter, And Changed The Air Filter, And I Have The Following Mods: Custom Exhaust (dual 2 1/2" Pipes All The Way Until They Connect Into A 3" Magaflow Performance Exhaust, With Dual Glasspipes To Suppress The Sound)done By A Profesional Drag Racer Who Has A Muffler Shop, I Have Removed The Sleeves That Open The Auxilary Ports (so They're Open All The Time), And Removed The Smog (air) Pump.
Now For My Question, Was I Supposed To Feel The Power Increase From Removing The Sleeves, And The Air Pump? Some People Say No, Because Its An Automatic, But I'm Not Sure.
Now As For My Next Mod, I Was Thinking Of Buying The K & N Fuel Injection Performance Kit (fipk), Would That Be A Good Next Mod?
