so yea, i found an 88 rx7 convertible here in my home town for sale pretty cheap. its a 5speed with about 2xx,xxx miles on the car, but about 4x,xxx to 6x,xxx on a rebuilt motor, its ran fine when he parked it but its sat there for 2 years with no mantainence, and he went to go start it and it wouldent start and its not the batterey. i dont have any other info at this time. i will later when i go take a look at it and see if its worth the trouble. but i figure it might be something simple. so i was gonna ask if there were anythings that u would suggest that i check when im there to look at it. anything that might be a definate problem of it sitting up for 2 years.

whats wrong with an answer... anyway at least tell me what to search by, anyway. i apolagise i was in a bit of a hurry to go see it. but i allready saw it and it looks ok. the interrior needs to be cleaned up a bit and it needs a new front drivers side fender. and probably some new tires, and the rag top leaks slightly in 2 spots. but it has factory paint and its in good condition. i might just pick it up and maybe part it out. idk if it'll be worth the trouble. because im currently looking for a DD for right now. : \

 

in the 2nd Generation Specific (1986-92) there are 3 stickys look at the one that sez faq
