Need some help,my car is at the shop and it won't start....

Forgot to tell the guy about the flooding problem with rx's...he started it this morning and moved it,shut it off and now it won't start. He said he did the atf trick(he called mazda) and it still won't start.Says it sounds like it wants to start but won't.i took it in to get all the belts, hose's replaced, new front rotors and a new differental mount.Any other suggestions?

I printed this out to take to him....

Remember when starting a fuel injected car you should never pump or press the accellerator pedal, but if it won't start it is probably flooded, Hold the accelerator pedal all the way down while cranking, do not pump

Should i add anything???

The holding down the gas pedal only works on S5 FCs (89-91). Doing this on a S4 will only flood it more. To unflood your car, open the hood and look at the fuse box located on the drivers side shock tower. Take off the cover, and look for the EGI fuse. Pull this fuse, and then crank the car for about 10-15 seconds. Now replace the fuse and try and start again, and it should fire up. If not, repeat once or twice. If this doesnt work almost immediately, your spark plugs may be too saturated in gas to fire, so you may need to take them out and clean them.

What the hell kind of shop does the ATF trick on a motor!? Especially after calling mazda!? I'd be a bit bitchy if they did that to my car!

Yea, I was wondering that also... No reputable shop Ive even deal with would ever consider putting tranny fluid into an engine...

The front rotor your getting replaced might be one of a triangular nature with this guy.

seriously though if you a strong motor doing the ATF trick could damage an otherwise good motor.
