Need some help, have few prob/questions!

Soo i was putting my intake back on and took off airbox and got a few vaccuum lines i wanted to know if i needa cover them. and also before i did this earlier today i was driving and outta no where a buzzing sound came from under steering wheel like where abunch of wires were it happens everytime i let off gas or at idle and its kinda scaring me......and ALSo i took off smog pump belt and am going to take off smog pump for now....so im just trying to make sure i also dont mess things up by taking it off or apart and not doing wut is supposed to be done after i know a few of these questions maybe can be answered in "search" but thought id ask here since im not sure wut im even searching for on some of this stuff........anywho here are some pictures of my engine bay...actually quite a bit of them..not sure if there 56k friendly :P thx to all!

and im sorry was tooken with a pretty crappy camera phone and i had drove in a dirt mountain a week ago so its reaaalllly dirty :O im mainly wondering about all that stuff that has nothing plugged into it...such as the hoses that arent connected to anything ^^
and ya im new to car sorta well to workin on it i just cant afford to bring to shop everytime something goes wrong so figured id start workin on it at home, just sux since its my daily driver so if i take something apart one day its gotta be back on by next morning ><

the only hose i really see is the bottom pic, that is part of the Air conditioning which was removed on your car but only a few small bits and pieces remain. the others in the top pic are for the charcoal canister which is for fuel tank ventilation, which the steel lines were missing on your car and it isn't really necessary on a modified car anyways.
