Need some help

Alright, I took off my door panels the other day and was gonna try to change the bulb, but I couldn't seem to find any bulb up there in the door lock cylinder. Is there any way to tell by wiring or something if I actually do thave that illuminated lock cylinder? Also, I was looking at the Finish Line and aero kit and wondering if you could still mount the aero wheel pieces underneath the Finish Line skirts, because I'm not sure exactly how those aero pieces mount onto the car. From what I can tell, the Finish Line kit came with a different front bumper, full side skirst, a lip piece for the rear bumper, and a different spoiler. I wanted to combine both the kits together, but it looks like I could only use the oil panel piece from the aero kit, so I'm kinda wondering. Thanks for the help guys.

About the door lock light, I had to remove the door handle assembly to get to the bulb holder.

Is you ignition lock light working?
They kind of work together.

You may have to get creative with the body kit..

Alright, I can try that then. My ignition light works, just not the door one.

I just don't know about the kits for sure because I've never seen good pictures of them.

No, the Sports, 88 GTU and 88 Turbo came with the aero kit. It is different than the finish line body kit.

So where did the Finish Line kit come from? I know that the aero kit is those black spoilers in front of the wheels and the oil pan panel and the rear wing.

the finish line kit was a dealership installed option, not factory.

well, where'd the dealership get the kit from then. I think the Finish Line side skirts are the same thing as the S5 turbo skirts aren't they?

Finish line products are the Mazda Factory accessories that are installed or made available by a authorized Mazda dealer when the car is new. They are not factory installed, but rather only dealer or aftermarket installed. Mazda North America contracted a North American supplier to build them to then sell at the dealers.

And the FinishLine Side Skirts are nothing at all like the factory installed S5 Turbo's side skirts. The Finish Line skirts are square, while the S5 Turbo skirts are round (and often overlooked if you didn't know what you were looking at) matching the stock FC rounded body shape down there/under the doors.

FinishLine for the FC:

So what you're saying is that it would be nearly impossible to track down a Finish Line kit nowadays?

Might find one on a shelf somewhere in the back of some podunkt Mazda dealer- but I doubt it.

Most dealers didn't even stock it when it was available from North America Parts distribution.

If you like that look the old Racing Beat kit is very simular, and I believe still available from racing beat.

I searched and couldn't find anything on the Racing Beat body kit so would anyone happen to have a link to some pictures or something for me?
