i just got a 87 turbo 2
it will start right up and run but ruff and it missfires a bit.

once it gets warm if i dont keep on the gas it will stall then i cant get it restarted unless i have it floored



im new to this car can u guys help me out here thanks

 

Oh Geeze... Whoever is selling you poor bastards these mangled TII's needs to be strug up... thats like four guys in a week!!!!

First.... take the spark plugs out... see if they are shot.. or are wet with fuel..

HINT.. go to autozone and get one of those red handled stubby ratched they sell in the junk bins up front... these are the BEST for spark plugs on our cars, they are small, and have a real tight click rate.

 

well, if he is firing and running, I would lean towards a TPS/tuning issue. Sounds like initial idle settings are waaaaaay off.

 

ya i was thinking my secondary throttle plates arnt opening when the car warms up i have put new wires and spark plugs in alredy <ps> i traded my intergra for it one that need new vales...
