Need some diagnosis again guys *HELP*
I have an 88 non turbo. I just recently got the clutch replaced. When I take off while turning, I hear something like a crunching sound. It does it when I am going straight as well, but not as loud. I took a ride last night with a Tech, and he said it may be gear oil. I will change it to be on the safe side, but do you guys have any other suggestions?

I could be just the groan of worn trailing arm bushings as the car squats during take off.
Any other symtoms - vibrations?
If you're changing gear oil - put in synthetic gear oil.

And the rear diff mounts almost never break... and when the front one fails you just get a clunk when accellerating or decellerating.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions, whether they be correct or not, haha. I changed my oil using Mobil 1 Synthetic and changed the gear oil with Royal Purple gear oil. All the symptoms are still there.
Sureshot: Yes, there are more than normal vibrations in the car. I should check that out. Thanks.

oh yea, one more thing. When I back up the car, it makes a rubbing noise and I feel the vibration throughout the car. I thought it had something to do with the rotors, but it wasn't. Could it have something to do with the trailing arms?
