Exclamation Need some car speaker help.

Yes I have read the specs and I have searched but found really nothing. I need some help so i have a 1987 rx7 coupe, n/a just in case your wondering. Everything is stocked from the exhausted all the way to my radio. So I took my car on a Christmas spree and i found out she is a high maintenance chick hahaah. Well anyways i am having a problem my speakers for all four of them need to be replaced but when I pulled out the rear speakers and i noticed their glued on the damn plate not just that they are also screwed hahaha which is funny. But i need some help i measured and i think 8 inch around would fit but im not sure, does anyone know what that size I should get and also my front ones seem fine on the specs it says in the dash (which I have) they should be 4"s but when i go online to car fitted speakers they say like 5.75" and stuff can anyone help me out here. This is driving me crazy I can install a new transmission without a problem but right when i hit speakers im freaking lost help please.

I tried to help. I went to Crutchfield.com and did the select car option. I chose 1987>Mazda>rx7>with factory CD player; with power antenna>Factory stereo installed. And this site recommends 6 1/2 " speakers.
