Need some advice
Ok first i will start with a little bit of a background story. A freind of a friend had a 87 N/A for sale and it was too good to be true so i buy it. It had sat for 4 years. It need some repair but seemed to run good. I coulnt drive it due to a locked caliper. So long story short fixed all bugs dumped money in suspension and wheels...ect. Well now i have noticed the engine is locked up(awesome!). I put ATF in the spark plug hole but still no luck. So my Question is what would you do in this situation? I would like to turbo swap but that is alot $$$$ SEEING how i would have to swap out every thing. When i rebuild would porting be a good idea? Im new to this. Im used to those piston thing. Any input would be greatly appriciated.

Do some searches on porting, there are various types and various degrees within each type. Mild street porting can usually be done with little or no negative effects on longevity and can increase power output and maybe fuel economy to a small extent. Personally I would recommend it, however it will cost you a fair amount if you have someone else do it.
Since you're new to rotaries you may be better off just finding a cheap NA donor car or something or slap together a cheap NA rebuild to get it up and running and to familiarize you with the concepts. There are a million ways you can go from here so it's really up to you and what you want/need.
