need a simple ceramic coating answer..

Ive read the diffrent threads about ceramic coating around rotor housing and rotor, basically did my homework Says its not good to put ceramic around moving parts, my friend knows ppl that can plasma the ceramic on. I only need the engine to handle 500hp(400rwhp) to the crank. 1990 turbo rx7.

should i do it or no?I've also read teds website for engine to handle 500hp to crank. i want to keep things as simple as possible

Thanks

Ceramic coat the rotor surfaces - no problem.
Make sure they don't get it into the apex seal grooves or the side seal grooves - this will **** up the clearances!

It won't produce that much more power - I'd be surprised if you see a 1hp gain.

It'll keep the oil temps down though.
